Welcome to my page! I am Mrs. Howard and thrilled to be a teacher in Clark County School District. It is my third year teaching language arts for 7th grade English. I find middle school to be the perfect challenge to enhance novel studies in the minds of young learners. Prior to becoming a teacher, I've worked with children who have autism and became an ABA Therapist. Thankful for the experience, I found my passion in teaching students to read, write, and speak English.

I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelors in Psychology then furthered my education to a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Secondary English. In the future, I would like to go back to school and complete a doctorate degree in Special Education and focus on opening my own practice for young children with special needs.

One of my greatest passions is traveling. I genuinely love to see other cultures, traditions, monuments, and scenic views around the world. The number one country I would love to visit is Italy! Hopefully, it happens sooner than later...
